We went into you Westfield’s Whitfords store on Monday 1st July, shopping for ladies clothes, toys
and makeup. I wanted to try on a couple of cardigans but there was no mirrors anywhere in the
ladies department, I eventually found an assistant who told me to go to the changing rooms,
however, I wanted to look at different cardigans and after traipsing back and forwards I gave up (I am in my seventies with a hip problem) We then went to the makeup department looking for nail varnish which was the 2nd disappointment. Low on stock, randomly arranged and almost a zero selection. Passing back via the children’s section, I missed the toys as they are at totally different sides of the store. We decided to leave and pay for the one item I had found, only to find a huge queue with only one overworked cashier. After waiting, three young girls turned up, two of whom earlier had been having a jolly good chat, laughing and joking while folding jeans.
I would have thought with the sad state of retail, that you would be making shopping a more enjoyable experience. Your staff should know this and should be doing everything to protect their jobs.
